The artist acknowledges with the utmost respect that Wilmington, Delaware stands on the traditional homeland of the Lenape people, Lenapehoking. Delaware is home to the Lenape Indian Tribe (The Original People) of Delaware, the Nanticoke Indian Tribe (The Tidewater People), and diverse Indigenous peoples today.
